Al crecer en el Reino Unido durante la década de los 70 , aprendí a leer con los libros de Ladybird books . Estoy segura de que algunos de vosotros habréis visto esos clásicos online, ya que están muy codiciados por los coleccionistas de libros antiguos. ¿Por qué estoy diciendo esto? Bueno, uno de mis cuentos de hadas favoritos de Ladybird books era la princesa y el guisante. Lo adoraba, y con mucha nostalgia, me sigue encantando hoy.
Growing up in the UK during the early 70’s, I learned to read with Ladybird books. I’m sure some of you will have seen these classics online, they’re quite sought-after among vintage book collectors. Why am I telling you this? Well, one of my favourite Ladybird fairytales was the Princess and The Pea. I loved it, and nostalgically, still do today.

French brand “La Princesse au Petit Pois” recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. Based in Montpellier (near me), but enjoying a truly international reach, Alexandra Darcissac’s label has evolved from a delightful bricks-and-mortar boutique into a much-loved, successful online business. Always staying true to herself, following her own personal style and aesthetic vision of kids’ wear, La Princesse has moved with the times – there are lessons to be learnt there!

Llámame anticuada, pero a pesar de toda la moda infantil moderna y super cool, a una parte de mí todavía le gusta ver a los niños vestidos de los niños … la nueva colección SS14 de la marca de Alexandre es simplemente bonita … fácil dellevar, fácil de vestir , todo lo que a mi me gusta.

Call me old-fashioned, but despite all the modern, super-cool kids’ fashion out there, part of me still likes to see children dressed as children… Alexandra’s brand new SS14 collection is simply beautiful… easy to wear, easy to dress up or dress down, everything I love.
Do you think she’ll make me a pair of those Sissi bloomers? I’m a big kid at heart and I’d love to wear those this Summer!
